after months, no years, of trying everything to get rid of smells from accidents - scrubbing them up, using carpet scent, etc. - i finally came upon the equalizer ... ummmm - shake it, point it, spray it and forget it... (unless it's like vomit or something then you should wipe up what's there) - this stuff has eased our stress over the smell - the smell disappeared... i'm ordering a case tho' just in case i need more down the road. i used a lot of the can for a whole room on 4/23 and haven't smelled any reoccurrence of the smell from our cats. thanks for reading - hope you decide to purchase!

Miele S5981 Capricorn with SEB-236 Power brush Review

Miele S5981 Capricorn with SEB-236 Power brush
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I know alot of people would balk at the idea of paying this much for a vaccum cleaner, understandably so. Quite honestly, I spent a long time weighing my options and researching for this purchase. In the end I went with this one because of the quality, the warranty and how well it worked.
Previously owned a Hoover Windtunnel upright, and there is just simple no comparison, in fact the Hoover is joke. It was a complete tank of a machine, hard to move around, attachments were useless and you could not fit into alot of areas. And in the end, it did was not even close to as effective at cleaning floors, which is really all that matters.
The reasons for going with the Miele:
How effectively it cleans floors! My carpets never looked so good, my hardwood and tile were never to easy to clean.
Long-term investment. You might get sick of a Miele vacuum before it breaks on you.
Technology inside is second to none.
Tried and true design, German engineering and quality. The parts have a nice feel to them, thick plastics, horse-hair brushes. Nothing felt cheap, or loose or flimsy.
Exceptionally quiet.
Size of the machine is small, but make no mistake it is incredibly powerful. About the best feature I have noticed so far about this machine, going from an upright, is the ability to get into tight spaces I could not before.
Controls on the handle are more convenient than I gave credit too before I purchased. Although you can save a decent chunk of change by getting the Calisto with a knob or two instead, if you don't mind. Same motor and power as the Capricorn.
The air quality, oh the air quality! Something we never thought important before, but we don't smell ONE thing while vacuuming. Even if you stick your face over the exhaust! They aren't kidding about these filters, they work and work well. No dust spitting back out into your house all over your furniture.
Some other features that are nice are the onboard attachments, the wheels on the canister that move in any direction (very smart feature), Warning lights on the machine letting you know bag is filled, or machine is over-heated. Cord-wrap is also excellent, and strong. Hard floor tool does an excellent job, simply excellent, you will never need a broom again.
I find almost nothing I don't like about the machine so far, except that occasionally you hit the wrong button on the hand controls unintentionally.
Otherwise the fit and finish is superb, German quality through and through, a real Mercedes of Vacuum cleaners. Some vaccum cleaners (actually most) just re-distribute the dust and dirt in your house. This once truly gets rid of it. And very nice to look at too. : )

Bissell PowerGlide Platinum Upright Vacuum, Bagged, Wine Red, 3545-2 Review

I purchased this vacuum less than 6 months ago and it is already useless. About 2 months ago, the Turbo Brush attachment (which was wonderful at first) stopped working completely. Unfortunate, but the vacuum still worked nicely. Currently, I vacuumed my whole house and smelled that familiar hot smell and thought I was burning through a belt. Not so. Upon opening the bottom of the vacuum I found that the beater bar had caused so much friction with the vacuum casing that it burned through 2 layers of plastic casing on the vacuum unit. It cannot be repaired and Bissell customer service won't do anything despite it being under warranty. I am taking the unit back to the store where I purchased it for a refund!

With a 12 amp motor for high-suction power and thorough cleaning, this upright vacuum provides seven height adjustments to clean surfaces from bare floors to high-pile carpet. The unit monitors airflow and indicates when it's time to change the bag in order to maintain suction power, while its HEPA media filter captures over 99.9 percent of dust and other airborne allergens such as dust mites, pollens, and ragweed. The vacuum is designed with a clear wire-reinforced stretch hose, and its attachments include a combination upholstery/dusting brush, a crevice tool for hard-to-reach areas, an extension wand, and a powerful rotating TurboBrush for cleaning pet hair, stairs, and upholstery. The on-board tools can be used to vacuum upholstery, drapes, furniture, blinds, shelves, baseboards, and much more. Other convenient features include a lightweight design, a carrying handle, an extra-wide 14-3/4-inch cleaning path, a wide-beam headlight, and a 30-foot power cord for easy maneuverability. The vacuum measures 12 by 13 by 42 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

I bought this product about a month ago and haven't use anything else since. I like the way it cleans and doesn't leave a smell behind. I did try this on my tile floors but did leave steaks. I prefer on the floors to use the Bona Floor Cleaners. This product I use in the kitchen mostly and it cleans everything up that I need it to do.

Bissell Zing Canister Bagless Vacuum, 10M2 Review

Bissell Zing Canister Bagless Vacuum, 10M2
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I'll start by saying this vacuum is NOT for carpets, period. It doesn't have any kind of beater bar and doesn't glide over carpet at all. I got this to do quick post-toddler dinner clean ups. The vacuum unit itself has a good design and plenty of suction. It is lightweight and would be great to carry around using the hose itself to clean nooks and crannies, but this ability is limited to nooks and crannies since it is blatantly missing a drapery or upholstery attachment. After going across my hardwood floors it sucked up quite a bit of dirt and lint & I didn't think my floors were that dirty. My complaint is that the floor attachment needs to be redesigned, which is too bad because it's primarily why I bought this unit. The part that slides accross the floor is maybe 8 inches wide or so, but really only the middle maybe 2 inches has a hole for suction. The rest of it doesn't, well, suck. There's not even an opening for it. I'm not sure why the thing is even 8 inches wide, it could just be 2 inches or so and accomplish the same task. So, as I attacked piles of crumbs and cheerios with it, only the middle of the pile would be picked up, very frustrating. It is just as loud, if not louder than any other vacuum with a sharper noise than most.
Pros:
Price
Suction
Vacuum unit deisgn
Easy to empty
Picks up a lot
Bagless
Compact design
Lightweight
Retractable cord
Cons:
Noise
Floor attachment
Lack of suction width
Lack of attachments
Not an option for carpet
Only picks up in middle
UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO COMMENTS: While it is true that canister and stick vacs only have the center hole, the problem with this is that it only cleans at that point. I have another vac with similar design that has the same center hole and the chambers that go out to the sides. It cleans the entire width of the head. Thus the problem with this.
Note that in my review I based my review on HARDWOOD FLOOR USE. NOT carpet. I stated that so that anyone who was thinking about it would think about something different. Also, I am not comparing this to an upright. My intentions were correctly placed in my trial of this vacuum. I wanted it for quick clean up, on hardwood floors, after my toddlers ate dinner. My intention was never to compare this to an upright... I have a Kirby for those jobs.
For this reason, I stand by everything I say in my original review. The head does not work well, even compared to similar vacs.

LadyBug 2150 Dry Vapor Steam Cleaner Review

LadyBug 2150 Dry Vapor Steam Cleaner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Very good if you know what vapor cleaning is about.
It is lightweight and very easy to store and move around the house, so you can use it every day to clean your bare floors and stop using chemicals (perfect when you have crawling babies).
It turns off automatically when operational temperature is reached.
It has steel boiler and best of all, continous fill which makes it good to work all day long if you wish.
Standard equipment comes with many accessories and towels, but you'll have to learn how to hold the towel with the brush clips so you don't loose power and avoid losing the towel every five minutes. You will also have to learn which accessory will allow you to do different kinds of jobs.
This is not a steam cleaner with a suction system to retrieve dirty water. You have to retieve it with clean dry towels.
Despite coming with a squegee, you will need a second hand with a dry cloth on windows and mirrors.
In carpets you will need first a shampoo. The vapor cleaner is good for maintenance in between shampoos and right after the shampoo, to eliminate chemicals from the carpet.

I received this "stuff" in a timely manner. To much dismay, the security seal was removed and at least 75% of the product was gone. It wasn't much of a loss because what was left did not rid any of the fleas. Would not recommend, and would not buy again. Also- do not use if you have moderate to severe allergies because it highly agitated mine and my dogs :/.

Hoover Platinum Cyclonic Canister Vacuum with Power Nozzle, Bagless, S3865 Review

Hoover Platinum Cyclonic Canister Vacuum with Power Nozzle, Bagless, S3865
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
To start, I should mention that I'm hard on vacuums. We have different flooring types, multiple levels in the house, animals, long hair and children, as well as living in a never ending construction zone in the center of allergy alley. Thus, I need a fairly heavy performing vacuum that manages flooring transitions as well as being able to do stairs and furniture.
If that weren't asking a lot already, I need it to be heavy enough to be multifiltered and high powered, but light enough that I can tote it up the stairs.
I've had the Platinum Hoover Canister for a 3 months now, and I've been pleased with the performance. This one replaced a previous Windtunnel, and while I miss a few things from the old version (like different power settings), all in all, the new version outperforms the older version.
Pros:
Suction is fantastic. Transitioning from area rugs to hardwoods and then to carpet is easy. Super long power cord lets you do multiple areas without having to unplug and replug. Filters, filters, filters. Allergies in the house have become noticeably better with this unit. It's a lot more quiet that previous versions. Powerhead is fantastic for getting critter hair off the furniture and drapes. Reset button on the main head is a wonderful thing, if like me, you have ninja shoelaces in unlikely places; such as those cleverly hidden by small children who have kicked their shoes under the couch. Almost no dust escapes the vacuum while it is running, and while it is all in one unit...but that leads us to the cons...
Cons:
Emptying this vacuum is not for the wheezy. You will get dirty, you will have a cloud of dust, you will curse yourself and the Hoover engineers if you make the mistake of emptying it in the house. Trust me on this one. The only good way to empty it is to take the canister out to your big trash can, standing upwind and praying.
As well, the canister has collection areas that cannot be touched, washed or otherwise cleaned. I realize that the engineering design behind this was to keep the user away from the dirt, but it also means that if something gets caked in there, like if you clean on a humid day...you're kinda hosed. (No pun intended....ok, a *little* intended.) It's as though the engineers had *seen* someone use a vacuum, but didn't actually vacuum anything themselves, and so hadn't quite worked through the final step of cleaning the vacuum itself.
Still, the minor inconvenience of what I think is a poor engineering decision on that one part, is outweighed by the performance, the price point, and the significant reliability that I've gotten from other Hoover products.
For a neat person with a small space, this vacuum is probably overkill...but for large houses filled with dirt tracking children and animals...this vac is a clear winner in it's price range.

Electrolux Home Care 1934A The Boss Upright Vacuum Review

Electrolux Home Care 1934A The Boss Upright Vacuum
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I just moved into an apartment with a new synthetic carpet that sheds like a pack of afghan hounds; it choked my bagless vacuum in under a minute. I needed a sturdy, no-frills, bagged vacuum like the Montgomery Ward upright I used for over 20 years before it died.
This model was almost identical, and now that I've had it for a few weeks, I'm happy as a clam. It has an old-fashioned rotating brush/beater roller, 5 carpet height adjustments, great suction for 5 amps, and comes pre-fitted with a humongous disposable liner bag (type F&G), plus a spare belt for the roller. Some parts that used to be steel have been replaced with thick plastic, but it seems plenty sturdy, and it's much lighter to maneuver and carry than my old all-steel model. The on/off button and lock/unlock for the handle are both on the base, so they're foot controls; carpet height is adjusted by a dial on the front of the base. The long cord (20 feet or so) doesn't retract, you just wind it over hooks on the handle. The spring-attached fabric bag has a full-length zipper, inside which the disposable bag (which fills the cover from end to end) slides on with another spring. Quick, simple.
One pass with this puppy picked up enough carpet fluff missed by the bagless to knit a throw rug, but there's still plenty of room left for future dirt. It's also a lot less noisy than my smaller bagless. The only qualm I had in buying this was the lack of attachments for cleaning upholstery & suchlike, but I found an inexpensive accessory kit made for it (crevice tool, round dust brush, upholstery brush, extension tubes, looooong flexible hose) right here on Amazon: the "Electrolux Home Care 60E 6-Piece Deluxe Tool Set," so my joy is complete.
Though the image on this page looks rather green, the vacuum is actually jet black, and the bag is a black-white-red random print. It comes in a flat box, minor assembly required. Highly recommended for those who remember how good the old vacuums were, don't want to spend a fortune just to clean their carpets, or are into retro styling.

Dirt Devil Ultra Power Handheld Vacuum Review

Dirt Devil Ultra Power Handheld Vacuum
Average Reviews:

I got this vac for cleaning up a small space, just a room, and did not need a whole upright thing.
I can say that this unit must have a very powerful motor- when you turn it on, it sounds like a Corvette at 6000 rpm and there does not seem to be anything built into the product to lessen this clamor.
The unfortunate thing is that all this power as you would think from the sound(s) that it makes does not seem to translate into a lot of suction power. But the brush is very powerful and distinguishis this product from other "Dustbuster" type hand vacs.
As a handheld vaccum, I do find its brush powerful to get things like cookie crumbs and whatnot out of a cheap synthetic carpet but beware, it is really loud. Well, one other good thing is that the bags are easily available.
Probably you can find another handheld vac that is quieter but beware that some "Dustbuster" - style vacs do not have a sweeping powerful brush, they just inhale loose debris. So consider it carefully.
It is an okay product and people ask to borrow it, but it does have its drawbacks in the noise and that the suction is not as powerful as it should be.
I think perhpas a lot of people here are comparing this Dirt Devil negatively with respect to hand vacuums that do not have powered brushes so it is not really a fair comparison.

Eureka 96DZ Lightweight Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Review

Eureka 96DZ Lightweight Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

We bought this when our first child learned to crawl and we had to clean crumbs, etc off the floor before she ate them. Now we're again finding it indispensable for number two and three (now ages 1, 3, and 5)
I like it for:
1) Handle installs and removes quickly and easily.
2) vacuum hangs easy on the charger - some other ones we've had are tricky to pop into the charger correctly if you want it to be installed vertically.
3) Power roller bar - really sucks up those cheerios quickly, even on hard floors.
4) Easily removable battery - charger has a second battery charging slot so you can swap out. When I bought this the cashier at Target told me that this was what they used to clean up spills in the store. It's now almost 3 years old and the battery is starting to show it's age (It's easily removable so I'll be buying a spare soon)
UPDATE: The original battery is still going strong. To eliminate the "Memory" I just ran down the battery between charges rather than keeping it on the charger "topping off" all the time. Works great now, as good as new!
UPDATE2 - after 5-1/2 years the original battery is finally dead. OEM replacement part cost me $19.99 including shipping, good as new!!!!
TIP: When emptying I find it handy to use a full size vacuum cleaner to get the filter extra clean.
If you've found this review helpful, please let me know!

EL4101A%2D Black Canister Vacuum Cleaner Review

EL4101A%2D Black Canister Vacuum Cleaner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Since I've spent the past 24 hours (or more) researching vacuums -- and bought two to try out at home, side by side -- I thought I should share my findings with the rest of you.
First off, my 23-year-old Hoover canister finally died on me a few weeks ago. I'd had the thing at the shop maybe once for some work, but other than that, it still worked like a charm til the very end. It had a self-propelling power head that roared like a elephant and scared small children and pets, but it but really sucked the dirt in its heyday. It was sort of scary on hardwood, but I made do. After all, it was practically a member of the family -- the same age as my oldest son.
So when it died, I knew it would be a hard act to follow. I knew I wanted a canister. To tell you the truth, what I like most are the long wands that I use to clean everything from ceiling fans to air vents to baseboards. The little attachment hoses on the uprights just didn't seem like they'd do the trick. I liked the idea of bagless, though I'd never tried one. The guy who cleans my carpet once a year recommended Dyson. After looking at Dysons, reading reviews and seeing the prices, I decided I didn't want to spend that kind of money.
In the end, I decided to test-drive two vacuums: the Electrolux 4101A Ergospace Green Canister ($149 at Costco) and the Hoover MultiCyclonic SH40060 ($149 at Target.) Both sounded great online, so I decided to buy them both, assemble them and do a side-by-side comparison.
Bottom line: The Electrolux, cute and "green" as it is, is going back. The Hoover is staying.
The Hoover isn't as well made as my 23-year-old dearly departed - that's obvious. But it seems far more solid than the Electrolux. I nearly broke the Electrolux simply trying to unsnap and resnap the filter compartment -- the plastic seems thin (yes, I know it's recycled) and flimsy. I can't imagine it holding up a year -- I'm not sure it will last a month. Same thing with the plastic hose, which also seems flimsy compared to the Hoover. Even the power nozzle-heads (two of them, which I can't imagine wanting to swap out very often) seem sort of cheap. On the plus side, the telescoping wand works very well and is nice and long, the 3-in-1 crevice tool is sort of ingenious once you figure it out (no help from the manual there!) and the motor has variable speeds, which is neat. Another negative: The hot air "exhaust" blows out straight up at you -- I felt like I was in a wind tunnel (a hot wind tunnel) if I got too near the canister.
The Hoover, on the other hand, snaps together neatly with lots of clever, well-designed little latches. The bagless design seems very easy to use, and economical. Two filters, both washable. The wand telescopes, not quite as smoothly as the Electrolux, but it's fine (much better than the two-part wand in my old Hoover.) The tools (just two and admittedly not great) store neatly in the rather heavy hose handle. The handle has to be heavy, I guess, because it contains the power switch - which is another big improvement over my old Hoover (and the Electrolux), where the power switch is in the canister, which may be some feet away away from you just when you want it most.
But in the end I wanted a vacuum that could clean. So I decided to run each through its paces on my hardwood floor. Fairly dirty and dusty, since as I said, my old Hoover died "a few weeks ago."
The Electrolux was first up. It wasn't bad, though the blowing hot air was a bit bothersome. It was quiet and it moved easily along the floor. It's lightweight and easy to pull. But there was one stubborn Christmas tree needle stuck in the baseboard that just wouldn't budge, even though I went over it again and again. Christmas tree needles are my litmus test.
So out comes the Hoover, to see what it can do. It's a bit heavy, but feels solid and sturdy in a reassuring way. It's much quieter than my old vacuum. I can actually carry on a conversation while I'm cleaning. I can hear the doorbell ring.
And when it gets to the Christmas tree needle -- wooooosh! Gone. Just like that.
What was I thinking? Momentarily swayed by a cute green bungee-cord (what's that for, anyway?) and the promise of being green and environmentally correct, I nearly forgot the most important rule of vacuum purchasing. A vacuum needs to vacuum well. I think the Hoover MultiCyclonic and I will have a beautiful life together. And it's sturdy little blue body is growing on me.

after reading many reviews from many different sources we decided to purchase this vacuum. we ended up getting it from costco as it was quite a bit cheaper than on amazon at the time. i have to say that we've been thrilled with this vacuum so far. it does a wonderful job on our carpet leaving no trace of dog hair behind. the dirt sensor is a fun addition although i'm not completely sure what it's thinking sometimes. the self-propel feature is great and works effortlessly with normal vauuming gestures gliding the vacuum along the floor with ease.
we were looking at some dyson vacuums as well but after going to the store and test driving both models the dyson vacuums, although great to look at, seemed heavy and awkward to use most of the time. the hoovers seemed to have a good vacuum feel to them.
the set of attachments is also nice and are very easy to use.

Equipped with patented WindTunnel technology, this bagged upright vacuum delivers powerful, deep-down cleaning performance. The self-propelled unit offers nearly effortless maneuverability in both forward and reverse, while three distinct air channels lift and trap dirt, keeping it from scattering back into the carpet, so dirt ends up in the cleaner not on the floor. The unit also traps 99.97-percent of dust and pollens down to 5 microns in size thanks to its allergen filter bag. Even more, it provides a deluxe stretch hose, a complete on-board tool set for above-floor cleaning, and a pet-hair tool with rotating brushes that effectively removes stubborn pet hair and dirt from upholstery and carpeted stairs. Other thoughtful details include non-marring wheels with bearings for lower push effort on carpet and safe use on bare floors, custom cleaning controls for moving from carpet to bare floors with ease, and an ergonomic D-grip handle for added comfort and control. The cleaner also offers fingertip on/off power control, five-position height adjustment, edge-cleaning bristles, a headlight, and a 31-foot power cord. We call my wife the Vacuum Lady. All she does is Vacuum .When she gets home from work the first thing she does is grab the vacuum. We've had our 5 amp professional Eureka Vacuum since 1977. Although it's pretty beaten up it is still running fine.I wanted to buy her a new one. We bought a new Eureka lightweight and brought it back the next day. The sound was too high pitched and it felt like a toy vacuum. The brush is made out of plastic. In fact with all my research I found out that most are plastic not metal like the Eureka C2094G .The metal ones last forever. Now we finally found the exact replacement the Eureka Heavy Duty Commercial Series . It has a 50 foot cord and that's the longest you will find.Instead of putting all extras and accessories into the vacuum it is just pure raw power .If you want a vacuum that lasts 25 years this is it.

Great for high-speed, large-area cleaning, this Eureka upright vacuum is simple, maneuverable, and strong. Though not appropriate for bare floors, the vacuum features six different carpet-nap settings, tuned with an easy-access dial that ranges from low pile to thick plush. The no-nonsense construction of the vacuum makes it easy to push and turn, while the wide bumper protects furniture and baseboards. The back-mounted cloth bag zips open completely for easy removal of the inner paper bag. The stout metal brush roll on this machine stands up to abuse and thoroughly sweeps and combs carpet for deeper cleaning. The handle--released with a foot pedal--can go flush with the floor for vacuuming under furniture. Though this model doesn't come with hoses, attachments, or extra gadgets, it's a reliable, powerful way to clean all kinds of carpet. At 20 pounds, it's not exactly a lightweight, but the spare design lets you turn it on a dime. Eureka makes this upright with a bright headlight, two cord hooks, a foot-controlled power switch, and a 50-foot power cord. It also comes with a spare paper dust bag. --Emily Bedard

Steam Fast Multi Surface Steam Mop SF-142 Review

Steam Fast Multi Surface Steam Mop SF-142

It is my first steam mop. I have always been thinking, that nothing can be better that a good cotton mop to keep your floors clean. My house had carpets in every rook with exception of the kitchen and bathrooms, and it was not a big deal to clean the floors just on my knees. Then we had fire and and in our rebuilt house we have tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms and engineered wood floors everywhere else. Cleaning them all on my knees was out of question. I was using microfiber mops and "Bona" floor cleaner, but the floors have never looked good enough and did not feel clean, not mentioning sanitizing.
I have been shopping for steam mop for a couple of months. I was reading reviews and comparing products. I even found a review with comparison of several steam mops and their steam temperatures, but could not make my mind. I came across Steam Fast Multi Surface Steam Mop by Vornado for $29.00 + free shipping. I decided to give it a try. For that price, even if it is a total failure, I will not feel robbed. I also applied $8.50 from Amex points, so I got the mop for unbelievable price. My husband was absolutely skeptical, saying that I will get what I pay.
The mop have exceeded all my expectations. It is light, glides easily, it heats in about 4-5 minutes. Some reviewers put it as a drawback, but I do not know why... You have to sweep or vacuum the floors before mopping any way, so I do it while it heats. The switch pedal is on the mopping head, so I just need to push it with my toe to start the unit. It indicates, when it is out of water with the green light going off. I can replenish water, using measuring cup included in the package, right away, no need to wait for cooling down, since no steam comes out of the top hole when you unscrew the cap.The mop leaves much less moister than a regular mop, and no streaks. It takes 1 measuring cup to clean my kitchen and 1 1/2 cups to clean the leaving room. The package includes two microfiber pads with Velcro on the back. All you need to do is just put the mop on the pad and it is ready. The replacement pads are also sold on Amazon, but you can be creative and make your own, if you want.
I was not too concerned if the mop sanitizes the floors or not.I do not have little children, playing on the floor, but I have two dogs, who mess them all the time. The white socks test proved ,that the mop really cleans my floors. I remembered those reviews with steam temperatures for different tested mops, and decided to test mine. I used digital meat fork-thermometer.I put it under the mop and got 207F in 4 minutes after turning the unit on.It is way more than I could even dream about.
I used the carpet attachment, which is just a plastic frame you put the mop on. It fluffs and freshens my area rug and they look great.
What else can I say? I have been using this unit for 2 weeks frequently ( Remember? Two messy dogs) and I am absolutely in love with this little wonder! No more cleaning on my knees, no more sticky floors.I saw the same mop for almost twice more from different vendor, but I would not hesitate a minute to buy it again. It is too early to say anything about durability, but it has 1 year warranty any way. Considering what it does, I am ready to spend 40-50 bucks in a year, if it breaks. It is worth of every penny.

Miele SBB300-3 Parquet Floor Brush Review

Miele SBB300-3 Parquet Floor Brush
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The original parquet brush with an even line of stiff bristles caught the dust but just moved larger debris along the floor. This new brush is a great redesign, perfect for hardwood floors. The bristles are spaced alternating high and low allowing the necessary airspace to capture more than just dust. The head rotates easily for access to those difficult to reach places. However, it does nothing but floors, and since most people have a rug & floor combination it becomes just one more vacuum head that you have to haul around.
Don't get me wrong, if you care about your hardwood floors ,this is a keeper. I am buying another for my second vacuum cleaner.
Perfect would be a re-introduction of the original combination tool with rotating head that cleaned rugs and didn't scratch the heck out of hardwood floors.
Although Miele purports to love communication from consumers, they have never answered any of the emails I've sent suggesting that they re-introduce the original combination tool.
